Okay, it is absolutely worth noting that these do not fit into the same timeline. Seriously, you will hurt your brain if you try and make them fit together. The first one is the way it is because of the prompt (although it is pretty accurate to how I see Chekov's character); the second is a far more accurate portrayal of how I see their relationship.
